I've been planning a couple of VW Kombi mechanicals based vehicles for a while (Pookie and Leopard) so this might be the ideal time to actually put knife to plastic. I assume they would be a heavily oily wood. Generally a hard wood would be used, but there may have been shortages, resulting in the use of pine? in which case a lighter oily wood colour. If any sleepers had been replaced, I assume also a lighter colour, but still oily.   READ
