Introduction
Scenery specialist NOCH makes many figure sets in several scales. This is the N scale set Band, item 36839.

The set
Band is a set of six figures and an instrument. Each item is factory assembled and painted. The subjects are:
    Keyboardist
    Guitar player
    Guitar player
    Woman vocalist
    Drum set
    Drummer
    Saxophonist

Molding is remarkably fine and the figures have good detail. I found no molding flaws. The figures have poses that look realistic.

As good as they look, they are just too tiny to stand on their own. Only the drummer and keyboard player can remain upright with just gravity. The rest will need to be glued down.

The set is packed in a form-fitted cradle for each model. That cradle is held inside a top/bottom clear plastic box.

detail
The tiny figures and instruments have good detail for the scale ( 1/160 ). The skill of the painter accentuates the molded detail.

Conclusion
This lilliputian jam session features good detail and natural poses. The factory painting is very good.

My only concern is not surprising - the figures need glue to remain upright. I believe that N scalers will enjoy this set for livening up the town square of their layout. Recommended.
SUMMARY
Highs: The tiny figures and instruments have good detail for the scale. The skill of the painter accentuates the molded detail.
Lows: The figures need glue to set upright.
Verdict: N scalers will enjoy this set for livening up the town square of their layout.
