Introduction
Matho Models continues to release new and useful resin scenery accessories. Flower Pots is a 1/35 set, item 35043.

Flower Pots
Flower Pots is a set of 9 pots, eight round and one rectangular. Most are of small size.

Sizes vary from 3mm (0,11") in height to 1,5cm (0,59") in height.

While these are marketed to the 1/35 military community, the set is completely suitable for many other scales, especially O scale (1/48), No. 1/Gauge 1/Number One gauge (1/32), and G gauge (1/22.5-1/29). The smaller pots can also stand in for large volume pots in the smaller railroad scales of OO to HO.

The pots are cleanly and sharply cast in buff resin. I found no air pocks or other flaws. My only complaint is the hefty pour block that each pot is attached to. We modelers are, of course, highly skilled and clever, so removing the pots should be no problem unless one is ham-fisted.

These pots can be modeled empty or, more interestingly, with plants in them. There are many model vendors who make appropriate model flora, NOCH and West Garage Models in particular.

Matho Models also makes a set of 1/35 water cans, item 35033.

Conclusion
Matho Models Flowers Pots is an excellent set useful for almost any setting in many millennia. The casting is excellent. While these are marketed to 1/35, they are suitable for many other scales. My only complaint is whiny - the pour block.

I highly recommend this set.

Please remember to mention to Matho Models and retailers that you saw this set here - on RailRoad Modeling.
