Introduction
100-Ton Trucks from Atlas Model Railroad is a pair of heavy duty modern trucks in N scale. Originally made by BLMA and now distributed by Atlas, this is set 9005.

100-Ton Trucks
This pair of 100-Ton ASF Ride-Control trucks with 36" wheels is packed in a blister pack with a card backing.

The trucks have detailed acetal side frames. Those hold the metal wheels which are chemically blackened.

Detail
Look at the side frames. They sport three springs and roller bearings. All detail is molded on. Molding is sharp with deep recesses and crisp raised features.

Performance
A gentle push sent these trucks smoothly and freely rolling over Atlas code 80 track.

Conclusion
N scalers who need to replace worn out trucks or upgrade their rolling stock will find this pair of 100-Ton ASF Ride-Control trucks with metal 36" wheels very appealing.

These trucks look good and perform good. The chemical blackening of the wheels is effective.

I have no meaningful complaints and recommend these trucks.
SUMMARY
