introduction
Bandai's Fieldwork Accessory series included not only trees, sign posts, bridges, ruins, tank obstacles and supplies, but this weapons set. Bandai released this set in the 1970s, again in the 1980s, and again in the 1990s through their subsidiaries FROG and Fuman.
the kit
The accuracy of the pieces vary in quality. Flash mars many items. The contents include unique injection molded weapons such as the:

* 8 cm S.Gr W. 34 mortar
* M.G.08 machine gun (Maschinengewehr 08, or MG08, was the German Army's standard machine gun in World War I)
* M.G.34, with tripod
* M.G.34 with bipod
* drum, saddle and box ammo canisters (open and closed)
* Pz.B.39 7.62 mm antitank rifle
* mortar rounds
* Kar 98K rifles
* Panzerfausts
* MP40
* binoculars
conclusion
While better models of some of these items in quarterscale now exist, some are unique. For background pieces, they will enhance dioramas and vehicle loads.
SUMMARY
Highs: Unique weapons in 1/48.
Lows: Flash. Accuracy issues.
Verdict: While better models of some of these items in quarterscale now exist, some are unique. For background pieces, they will enhance dioramas and vehicle loads.
