DER MASS:STAB is published six times a year. You can subscribe to it, or buy it from selected news stands in German railway stations, or from hobby shops around the world.[2]

Instead of reviewing each issue in the usual format, I will show you the main articles in the featured issue. You will find what particular information is available.

DER MASS:STAB 2/2011

The issue opens with an editorial and current stories, specifically a memorial for former Herpa president Fritz Wagener, who passed away 2 January 2011. Next the magazine notifies the reader where Herpa will be presenting themselves in shows this year. Further, new developments are shown, such as the Herpa series Überraschungsbox -- Surprise Box.

The heavy conventional truck Zetros, latest addition to the Mercedes-Benz fire brigade program, was primarily developed for the military market and is available as two- or three-axle all-terrain vehicle. The vehicle, at the Interschutz fair displayed as Ziegler-fire engine TLF 30/90-5, is based on the Zetros type 2733 A 48.

For the toy fair, Herpa has scheduled a major new releases offensive. Included are the wind power plant, the Audi A1 special models of the Wörthersee Meeting 2010, the Mercedes-Benz Zetros, great classic vehicles and interesting and current car models like Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz SLK. This and lots more can be found on the following pages.

With some classics of the 60s and 70s already having been presented in 2010, Herpa has continued with a similar-sized program at the Toy Fair 2011. As early as for March and April, Herpa announced three classic vehicles – the Borgward Isabella as two-door sedan, the Opel Kadett B Coupé and the Skoda 1000 MB.
