DVD Model Landscaping Guide
Mfg. ID: 71916
Length: 70 minutes
Languages: English; German

Introduction
NOCH demonstrates the use of their wide range of models and products with comprehensive "how to" DVD Guides such as "St. Peter". It leads the viewer through construction and assembly of a complete layout including roadways, tunnels and bridge construction, landscaping and rock structuring through adding vegetation, simulating water, and populating the layout with figures, buildings and beasts.

DVD Guide "St. Peter"
The instruction manual for the construction of the 200 x 120 cm and 60 cm high layout as a printable PDF file is included on this DVD.

NOCH made this DVD easy to navigate and watch. Viewers can select between the narrative in English or German. The narrator has a pleasant voice with a British accent and background piano music accompanies the narrative.

The DVD is separated into different topics including building the frame and base, surveying the rail route, setting the topography, adding ground cover, setting buildings and vegetation.

NOCH demonstrates their large selection of products: foam rock and tunnel portals; landscaping items including variable height landforms; grass; model water; track; miniature scenes.

The DVD is a "how to" with great directions and tips. There is an occasional term that isn't quite familiar to viewers on this side of the Atlantic yet it doesn't take any effort to understand.

While St. Peter is still listed on NOCH's website, a more recent title is the current listing: Landscaping Guide St. Barbara, Germany.

Conclusion
I have watched this DVD throughout, and specific segments more than once. It has not only been enjoyable, it has also been a good inspiration and technical guide. Recommended.
