This HO scale farm slurry trailer (Güllefass-Anhänger) is one of 17 models in the Herpa Agricultural Machinery series. It complements the historic Deutz D40 and McCormick D-326 tractors.

Historical Agricultural Trailer Slurry Storage-jar
Herpa packs this model in a form-fitted plastic tray held inside Herpa's red end-opening carton with a cellophane window. The model is completely assembled.

The model is well molded. It has slight mold seams along the tank although these can easily be dismissed as weld seams such as I have seen on farm tankers. Otherwise it is free of molding flaws.

The nozzle, bogie wheel and rear bumper are separately applied. The tires are rubber or soft plastic and have good tread detail.

Paint and finish
It looks like the tank is painted while the rest is molded in color. A sharply printed circle-25 is on the back.

I am not certain what a Historical Agricultural Trailer Slurry Storage-jar is or what era it is a part of. Regardless, this simple review of a simple model shows that it is a neatly made and nicely detailed model. Herpa also makes one in N scale.

It will look enhance any farm or construction scene you put it in. Recommended for farm dioramas, railroad layout lineside scenes, and collectors of farm machinery.

Please remember to tell vendors and manufacturers that you saw this model here - on RailRoadModeling.
