Atlas has a series of metal and plastic light poles to illuminate your HO and N scale roads and parks. This review is an HO scale handcrafted street light.

HO Scale Handcrafted Scale Lighting System - Street Light
This neat light pole is secured in a card label/cradle. The card is folded into a stepped box that the pole is screwed into and this setup is held in a plastic bag.

Features- LED light
- Brass construction
- Quick fit base - Just “Drill and Drop”
- Quick connection plug in wire harness, connecting directly to power source.
- Resistors included.
- Light can be removed from mounting base and replaced with different style to change the look of any street or highway on your layout.

This lamp post has a dull silver color and a opaque white lens for the lamp. The pole slips into a metal washer that tops the supports mounting base. Underneath is a black spacer above a thumb screw. This allows you to adjust the spacing for material you are mounting the model through. From the base to the top of the cap the light stands 15 HO scale-feet tall.

A red wire and a blue wire is already plugged in to the base. You connect the ends to your power source. Resistors are already attached.

Mounting instructions are merely to use a No. 22 drill to make a hole for the base. However, no mention is made of the thumb screw and how to position the lamp. It is obvious but inexperienced modelers may be frustrated.

When the lamp is illuminated the light is a soft white color.

Conclusion
These are easy lights to install. They look good. Brass parts should make it robust.

Mounting instructions could be a bit more clear.

This is a neat and easy to use street light. Recommended.
