Introduction
NOCH offers a series of building accessories including this injection molded set of guttering components.

gutter system
NOCH packages this set of two sprues in a clear sealed bag. The contents are the box art and a sticker is the label.

While most of the products in this NOCH series are laser-etched board, these are injection molded styrene. They are well molded without sink marks, seam lines or ejector circles. I spotted a slight amount of flash along the edge of some gutters. The various gutters, drainpipes and clamps are molded with holes to be simply joined together. Each sprue holds:

2 x gutters (7.09 in. long)
8 x drainpipes (3.03 in. long)
16 x drainpipe clamps
8 x corner connectors (0.79 in.)
8 x corner connectors (0.55 in.)

An instruction sheet is included in five languages: English; Dutch; French; German; Spanish.

Although these are marketed for 1/87 - HO, they can easily adapt to the intermediate scales of 1/72 - 1/76.

Demonstrated
I used this system on an HO scale French house. It was very easy to position and attach the parts. You can view that example by accessing Click here for additional images for this review., which is found just above the summary section.

Conclusion
This set is a great deal for the price! The set is very easy to use. Many kits - craftsman and complete - lack these important details. NOCH provided modelers with a sweet set of guttering. With two sprues per bag, a set can detail two common houses or a larger business. I really appreciate these sets and recommend them to any modeler who models buildings in this size.

Thank you NOCH for this sample! Please remember to tell vendors and retailers that you saw these here - on RailRoadModeling.
