the casting
Here is a small junk pile of old rusting pieces of iron stock and some misc junk that can go on the side of any shop or in a field.

Rusty Rail cast this diorama piece in white smooth resin. It replicates discarded or staged iron stock of various forms: "H", "L" and "U" channel, etc.; pipe; strap type; rail; a pipe valve with handle and other fittings; an abused heavy screw jack; can. Tossed onto that are a couple of bottles and a hammer.

That junk pile rests upon groundwork that resembles gravel.

Casting is good although there is an air hole on the can. Big deal - it's not like nobody ever used a can for target practice. However, a bottle is rough.

Scale? Rusty Rail advertises this on their O scale-1/48 page. I think it can be used for many scales. Probably no smaller than O scale as the bottles and hammer will look out of place.

I present this small diorama accessory with a 1/35 figure and a 1/48-O scale figure.

Conclusion
This neat little pile of scrap will make a nice prepared scene for any diorama: automotive; civil or military; railroad. Recommended.
