Paul, sounds like a very unique and well thought out build. I cannot wait to see and hear more.
However, remember the campaign only starts in a little more than a month, so planning is excellent, but do not cut too much plastic before we start.

Start up pictures of the kits and parts you will use would be great though.

Looking forward to kick off officially on 1st November and see more of your build!

I feel your pain Paul... I want to start too... NOW!!! But wait, what will I build? Oh yes, here are a few pics...

I am undecided between two kits from Paolo Parente's Dust alternate reality models, the KV-47/A or the Luther Kampflaufer.

Cheers,

Christian

Great choices, Christian. I would go for the Luther and do a German ambush scheme. That is just me though

I'll start with something simple and hopefully original, a Panther with Tiger I turret.

Finally decided on what to use for the hull for my hover tank. M1 Panther II mine clearer! Love the shape and the trumpeter kits are pretty cheap! Just got to get one and some gundam bits for the thrusters to keep it upright!

Paul, I can see the M1 hull working well for a hover tank with the rather slim and wide profile.

Nicolas, it will be something different for sure.

Great that there are so many and varied builds planned for the campaign already.

I have my stuff on order and they should arrive next week. I got a good deal on the dino kits...yes that's plural.

Anyone doing any of the Terminator stuff from Pegasus? I'm kind of interested to see how the figures and ground Hunter Killer build up.

Sounds sweet. What kind of turret will you use for the conversion? A Pz. IV J turret?

Currently I'm considering using a stripped down E-50 turret.

That would make for a compact and agrressive looking design I think.

Looking forward to see more when we get started.

I visited my local hobby store reciently and bought things I need for this and the Video Game Campaing from Armorama.

Cheap Tiger I for the Tiger/Panther hybrid, Panther kit is on it's way since the store didn't have a cheap enough kit for my budget.

Lorraine SPG is not for this campaign, it was the last one available, and of course it was stupid expensive, especially since I'll only use the gun sprues.

And now the Bergepanzer Tiger (P). I have an idea to turn it into an assault gun with the leftover sFH 18 I'll have from one of my builds for the Video Game Campaign.

That's all for now.

Looks good, Nicolas. Nice shopping spree for the campaigns.

Looking forward to see what you get from all these kits. Only a few weeks now.

all,
well I really can't believe I'm signing-up for this .
Up until a few months ago I had zero interest in the sci-fi/fantasy/etc.etc. genre - however after viewing a number a websites I'm slowly beginning to understand the attraction (can't knock it till you try it).
Not 100% sure what direction I'll head but most likely in the 'steampunk' style and something to do with transport and scratch built.
See you all at the start line.

Roger, this is some funky steampunk. I have never seen that before. Looks very interesting!

Are you building these as kits or use as inspiration?

all,
Jesper - I'll be using the renderings as reference, however the model will be a one-off scratch build.
Pete - cheers, I'm sort of leaning towards the Santa sleigh at the moment - brass and wood - love working with those two mediums.

Turtle, sounds good. I would love to follow your build - especially if you use brass and balsa Wood to construct your model. I have only used those materials very limited.

Most of my stuff is in...still waiting on my future Amazons to arrive. They should be in Tuesday. I might not do the Roman rider. Instead, I might go with an Imperial German angle instead. I have some leftover spiked helmets I'm thinking about using. Plus the French Cavalry helmets I have don't look as I though they would.

The trike is a fat bodied thing. I have an idea for a saddle. If that doesn't work out I might do a perch box like on a war elephant. I'm worried that that could look like a bear riding a bumblebee. Anyway, things should sort themselves out once things get rolling.

This should be a fun one.
