Carlos,

thanks for the in depth build review. This is by far the most comprehensive review (with photos and text descriptions) that i managed to find.
I had the kit and started it back in March. After building the gun (one gun), i felt major disappointment with the fitting. The way the put the locating pin, they way they molded the join and everything were so confusing. I got major fitting issue joining the gun. The breach block were also badly join that i said to my self this is maybe my assembly errors. But reading this made me think that i'm not the only one with the problem. It's the kit.
I could not understand, having reading all the good review of the kit as well as the previous takom kit, and this kit still have many flaws especially with the badly join. Takom got a very good reputation of a newcomer. While i never build any Takom kit before, this is the first kit that i ever bought after few years of silent (from buying kit) and hoping to do a come back.
At last, u put the kit back and keep it until i had more time to do. This kit simply kill my mood.

Thanks once again and congrats to finish it. Splendid build.

ps: maybe in another 2-3 years i will start back the build

Hi Zaidi,
Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you liked it!

Indeed it's a pity the kit has so poor fitting. If I would have to build it again (which I will not!), I would take it more slowly.

I have to say that although you have a hard time with it, once it's finished it looks great.

Hope to see yours done some day, meanwhile have fun building any other model.

Cheers

Carlos

Got one of these a dew months ago and pulled it out after reading your review. Yup, the fit on some of the parts is deeply disappointing but I intend on finishing it and emplacing it on the Tiergarten Flakbunker that I'm working on (top deck only!) Any word on accompanying figures? A full gun crew or so would be appreciated (And more importantly: bought!)
